Heather Nauert
Heather Ann Nauert, born on January 27, 1970, is an American journalist for the broadcast media who was previously an official of the government. She was the spokesperson for the United States Department of State during the Donald Trump administration (2017 to 2019). She is a senior fellow of the Hudson Institute, a conservative think tank.
Before her position at the Department of State she was a Fox News correspondent and news presenter. She also served as the Acting under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs during the Trump administration from March until October 2018. In the year 2019, Trump appointed Nauert to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board and to the President's Commission on White House Fellowships.
